Right lads, as some of you may know i recently bought an Eastwood Tuxedo, which is a hollow body archtop, with a Trapeze style tail piece. I just bought an recieved a bigsby B30 thinking the holes for both the trapeze and bigsby would line up...but alas, they dont:(. Now, I still want to install the bigsby and was wondering if i would need to plug the holes that would no longer be used, or could i drill away, keeping in mind that i dont want to wreck the yoke!
I'll post up pics a bit later if needs be to show things a bit better, i'm in work at the mo so no pictures at hand.
    Cheers Lads,
    Alan

If you have little experience in woodwork, then I suggest leaving it be, or getting a pro to do it. I'd imagine it could be very easy to wreck the body on a solidbody archtop guitar.
Do you need the bigsby? They really aren't all that great, I find, so if you don't think you'll use it much then I'd leave alone altogether.

Well it's hollow body, and it's not about needing the bigsby but yes i do definitely WANT one:). I already have one i installed on my Telecaster so i know what they're about. I'm just unsure of whether i would need to plug the old holes (i'm presuming i would).

    Lies and deceit!

Bring it to a pro and let them have their way with it. The Bigsby will suit the Tuxedo down to the ground I reckon. Just make sure you have it set up for some heavy strings aswell if you have it in to a pro. I'd say 12s would be amazing, 11s would be great aswell.

Yeah, i think i might have to head up to derrick nelson, but if anyone has some DIY advise send it my way, not exactly in the position to pay for the installation.
I already have it set up with 11s and it's unbelievably sweet!
