Online forums for visitors/immigrants/newcomers to Ireland??

Wasn’t sure which forum to place this in as it’s just a general query (mods feel free to move it if it’s inappropriate for this one)


Just Wondering…Does anyone know of any good sites or online forums used by either people about to come to (visit/move/immigrate) to Ireland or something used by foreigners already living in Ireland ?

Reason I’m wondering is that I’m thinking of setting up a series of workshops which mix TEFL and Orientation but I want to see if there’s a demand for something like this first and gauge the interest etc – I’m really hoping to get this working because I’d rather do something really beneficial for newcomers to Ireland than the bland TEFL lessons usually offered (I say that having been a TEFL teacher in an English Language academy myself) and because I’ve travelled and lived in a couple of different countries myself and the ones I have the warmest memories of (and had the best experiences in) were the ones which integrated me into their societies more readily .

Anyway if anyone has any suggestions for online forums I could check out I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks for that MIN2511 will check it out now. I'm actually gonna go around in person to a few places with a questionnaire as well - i'm thinking hostels and cafe's & bar's etc maybe leaving a questionnaire in citizens information centre - do you know if there are any other places i should check out (that i may not be already be aware of)??
