Which spec is it? 3 or 5 door. It makes all the difference.

LX, Zetec, Zetec connection, Ghia, Titanium?

5 door Zetec Connection is probably the best value spec for a buyer

1.4 LX is worth a couple of grand less than a 1.6 Zetec Connection or Titanium.

Do Irish people really prefer a 1.6 over a 1.4 in a Focus:eek:? You know what we Irish are like when it comes to our obsession with pint sized engines in cars.

1.4 is far easier to sell in a Focus.

    I'm thinking somewhere around 14k

I'd say anything on an 08 plate will sell far better if it's the 1.6 or 1.8 TDCi though, especially anything registered after July! People will (hopefully) lose this obsession with pint sized petrols fairly soon, and that is of course a very good thing.
