Chris Harris made his ECW debut this week in a match against Estrada, Harris is working under the ring name Braden Walker and wrestles in a plain black singlet, Harris picked up the win in about 4 mins but that doesnt mean awhole lot against Estrada

To be honest I'd rather be border line Main Event in TNA than a nobody on ECW

Well of course he is a nobody on ECW. He just debuted. And i'd rather be in his current position than TNA. Much more potential money to be made in WWE, especially from royalties from merchandise (SmackDown! VS RAW, Wrestling Figures, T-Shirts, etc.)

    Well whats wrong with saying

Either way its still a pretty odd thing to say (at least in my opinion).

It is humour replacing a too obvious comment that I'd feel dumb posting in the way that you suggested.

Any how is it trolling when it is an observable (see picture!) statement of fact? Do you even know what trolling is in the first place?

Who are you to define fat? The fat police?:D

I am fat! I have slept with fat ladies! I know fat!

Chris 'Braden Walker' Harris is not fat.

WWE probably just have better catering than TNA.:p

But its hardly trolling in fairness....

Back on topic, they got rid of the Catatonic, that was probably the best thing about Harris. Nice to hear some TNA style "let's go Wildcat" chants

What's with the cr*p name change?
Chris Harris is his real name is'nt it? Surely he should be allowed keep it if he's got some recognition under it, i hear Ron Killings will be allowed keep his name and even "the Truth" part which is TNA born and bred (Thank Christ he's not going to be using K-Kwik again...)

Breadn Water should be out the door soon anyway, but Ron Killings might get a decent push

Hes porky, he botched a cross body and they put him on ECW with a crappy name- Harris will have some work to do if he is to overcome all that, and I will never refer to him as his WWE appointed name. This time last year, he main evented Slammiversary(after an awesome match at Sacrifice with Storm and a great KOTM qualifier on Impact, also with Storm) and had an upper card feud going with Christian, he has fallen a lot in a year.

I wouldn't throw the towel in on Captain Vanilla just yet to be honest, he has time to improve. WWE made something out of Miz in the last two years, trust me, after that, they can do anything!

They still could have made it a little easier on themselves.

I'm not entire sure what context this is in...

But seeing as you're one of the few here that watches TNA for what it is, rather than bitching about it because it's not as junk filled as WWE has been lately, you'll know what i mean here when i give my opinion on Harris.

Harris, has not been the same since the breakup of AMW. As a singles wrestler, he's been exposed as Storm has been carrying that team, just like he carried the feud. Which is odd considering that Harris is the more experienced of the two. This is exactly the reason why Storm is in the main event picture in TNA at the minute (a move i'm in full support of, it's nice to see him, along with Roode and Joe in the main event picture as opposed to a load of washed up ex WWE guys).

Harris however, isn't a bad worker, he's just missing that one thing to keep you interested in his matches, which is what is really needed with Harris because all of his matches look the same. Hopefully that will change with some time with WWE, but i won't hold my breath given how they dropped the ball with Monty Brown.

Harris came out of the AMW split the better of the two but then got bogged down with Black Reign while Storm thrived in a great feud with Rhino. I always believed that Harris was the better wrestler of AMW but Storm has the charisma that made him better and the lack of charisma is what dropped Harris out of the main event picture in TNA.

As for making it easier on themselves, they could have debuted him as Chris Harris or something along the lines of Wildcat if they wanted something to trademark so some TNA fans that have abandoned WWE might come back to see what he was doing(same goes for Monty, who had tones of potential as a WWE upper card wrestler, what kind of crappy name is Marcus Cor Von, I would love to see him back in TNA). They could have at least let him use the Catatonic which is a rather unique move and might make him stand out(even though Umaga stole it) instead of making him look bland by having win with a cross body(and a bad one at that). And finally they could have given him a better worker that Estrada, perhaps Morrison, to make him look better and give him a good competitive match(I don't believe in sqush matches, even though Estrada did get in his fair share of offence).

My general opinion was Harris started off the better worker, but Storm outshined him in the last year of that team. I don't know if it was laziness to keep up on the part of Harris or not, in both charisma and in ring ability.

I don't know how you can say Harris came out of the split better to be honest dude. The heel heat Storm generated when he turned on Harris was fairly heavy stuff. And week after week he acted more like a complete ass, which made him a lot more interesting to watch than Harris.

I don't believe a ring name makes a difference to be honest. You can change your name and be a bigger success. Vinnie Vegas - Diesel, Johnny Polo - Raven etc. As for the finisher, well unfortunately, WWE don't like more than one person either having the same name or same finisher. But that's not he be all and end all either. And Harris looked bland long before he came to WWE, let's be honest. People have been saying that for quite a while now.

As for Estrada, come on! He's only 1 week on televised shows! He'll move on to better talent in weeks to come!
You're the one that's claiming you're in support for Harris, but you're also shooting him down and he's only a week on TV! :)

I disagree about the name, his current name just sounds like a jobber name, it doesn't stand out. I mean Harris came out of the AMW split better at first in relation to the push he got at first- ie. KOTM and Christian but then they realised that they had a potential goldmine in Storm and put him with one of the most reliable workers in the company in Rhino. I just think they could have put him with someone a little bit better than Estrada to showcase his talents.

Its interesting you say that Storm was better in their last year as that was when they were on top of their form with Styles and Daniels and Sabin and Dutt.

Well for a start, it's the ECW brand, so you can forget about showcasing his talents. If WWE are gonna be criticized for anything, it should be sticking him on that rubbish brand, not stuck with Estrada. You hit the nail on the head though, they saw a goldmine in Storm, and they saw that for a reason, he wasn't as Vanilla as Harris! Chris Harris isn't exactly a standout name, it's as jobber as it gets really ;)

They were still great as a tag team, i'm not taking anything away, i'm just saying that Storm showed signs of improvement at that point, whereas Harris looked exactly the same

When Storm has as much potential as he has, you've got to break them up.
