Hi guyz, just letting ya know- Movies.ie are having a screening of 'Wall-e' Monday. I saw it last week and I think it's fair to say, it's one of the most inventive things Pixar has done in a long time.

    More info at www.movies.ie

As a side-note, the short before the film, Presto, is hilarious:

........thanks a mil. Fingers crossed and all that. Looking forward to see this though, always have a soft spot for Pixar movies. (Still adamant that The Incredibles is the best one!)

Not transferable, but just get some person to give ur name at the desk and they can use them

Nah, notified them and they said it was fine.

They asked me the name of my friend who's taking them, and they swapped my name on the list for his.

Top service - very fast at replying and staff seem very nice.

anyone else get to go? It was absolutely brilliant

Sent my mate in my place..

.. he texted me about 7.15 saying he got popcorn, chocolate and a drink though.

Bastard - I'd to settle with stale Pringles and chocolate fingers I found behind the couch.... at least I hope they were chocolate fingers - they were chubbier than I'd remembered!

Yup fantastic film. And didn't even win the comp: a friend of mine did and just went up and asked for two extra tickets and they just gave them to us. :D

Yeah I went and have to agree with you that it was brilliant! :D It was very well run (way better then the Hulk premier 'mobile phone' fiasco) and everybody got a free lunchbox with toys, popcorn, chocolates & a drink. The film was very good too and is well worth all the praise that it is getting. Good job Movies.ie (& Disney Ireland)!!!

only thing that annoyed me was some big fat drunk rugger bugger cnut coming in during the presto movie and standing on my girlfriend and then falling on me then the muppet left about half an hour in to the movie:mad:

really fell in love with those characters though.

Poor Disney representatives though. Competition at the start was a disaster :o

Yea. I must remember that for the next time I go to a disney premiere. look around for the seats! :D
