I was just wondering what do women wear to a black tie wedding? I'm assuming women wear whatever dress they want but thought it better to double check!

Evening dress or very fancy cocktail.

this is going to sound really stupid...but what do you mean by evening dress? I'd normally dress up for a wedding(dress from coast(i know its a sin these days)/monsoon/boutique) But for a dress to be an evening dress does it have to be say silk or something...as in non cotten?
does that question even make sense? :)

Yep question makes perfect sense. Think long dresses, but not poofy, like you'd wear to a ball, or very dressy shorter dress from coast/monsoon. A bit blingier than you'd normally wear.
