    Hey,

I'm wondering where to access account information for outlook? These settings are from an old PC, the hard drive of which is in a new PC that I am trying to configure the outlook account on. I know about importing the pst file, but I am actually looking for the account settings (e-mail address and settings etc.)...

I would boot from the old hard drive and check it manually, but the version of Windows on it has expired (and requires an activation key) which I dont have. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Joe.

export this reg key from the old pc registry

    HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1343024091-507921405-725345543-1003\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Outlook

This key will be different on your pc in that the numbered park wont be the same so youll have to have a look through the list of keys

then copy it to the new pc and double click it to add it to the registry.
you might need to delete that key on the new pc 1st, but if you havent set up the accounts on it yet it should be ok
