E51 and text details

Loving my new Nokia E51 but one little bugbear.

When I get a text message, all I get is the message. I then have to go to a sub menu to find the time received (which i find useful).

Anyone know a solution?

doesnt it show the time in the inbox. unless its more than a day old

Change the display to 2 lines and you'll get the start of the message and the time shown in the main inbox display.

Do this from: Menu > Messaging > Options > Settings > Other > Folder View > 2 Lines

Thanks for the reply's, towel401 and random.

I have folder view already set to 2 lines but it only shows the date of the text not the time.

However, on previous phones as you scrolled down through the text, the details such as time and date were displayed at the end of the text. On my e51, I have to go to s sub menu to get the time.

I see what you mean actually .. only shows the time for todays texts and anything from yesterday or before only shows dates.

Wish I could help out more.
