Did anyone go to Bootsy Collins last week?

I thought it was a bit disappointing to be honest :-( If Bootsy wasn't there, it would just have been a 'James Brown Tribute Show' which I certainly wouldn't have paid to see. I knew they were doing the tribute but I expected a few of his own numbers as well. Tickets prices were a bit on the extortionate side too.

yeah, was a bit dissapointed meself. He also didnt play very long. When George Clinton played last year he kept going for over three hours or something.

Did Bootsy even make it to an hour? I expected more than that for 45-50 quid.

I know it was a james brown tribute but i was hoping for a bit of Bootsy too

Yeah, I don't even think he was going for more than an hour. They sort of disguised that with the 'variety show' format of the gig. I thought things were going to kick off after he did the lap of the room but nope.

Ah well, roll on George Clinton at EP for some serious funk!
