Seeking Writing Buddy -- Wexford/Waterford

Hey, guys. I'm a 24-year-old (female) aspiring author who's trying to get an epic Urban Fantasy novel off the ground. In the six months I've been writing, I've only managed to write about 6,000 words. At this rate I'll be slogging away until I'm in my fourties!

I find I write best when I have support/encouragement/a fellow masochist along for the ride, but at the moment I'm only able to get that support online, as I don't know anyone in RL who writes.

So I'm looking for a local writing buddy. Someone with whom I can meet up and have "Writing Days", someone to share moaning and general enthusiasm with, and someone with whom I can have a creative, supportive relationship. (Disclamer: by "relationship" I mean on a purely platonic, intellectual level. I'm married. :D I know nobody's going to misunderstand my meaning, but I thought I'd add this note just in case. This is the Internet, and intention doesn't always translate.)

Are there any fellow writers in the Wexford/Waterford area? Particularly New Ross or close to it? I don't drive, so that could be a problem, but I'd be happy to do my fair share of bus journeys. :D

Just to clarify: I'm not looking for a co-author.

    Get in touch! :D

I'm 16, from near New Ross and I write a lot. Writers block is a b!tch, but my problem is more not being able to finish stuff....

I'd be interested in Writers Days etc

I'm Eric, from New Jersey, USA, and an aspring author as well. Would you consider a long-distance writing buddy?

    Cheers,

    Eric

    ah shucks
    I's written a fan.tas.see novel too
but most of my characters are country folks
    roofs tile together
    like small garden plots
    with paths to walk between

but I'm not looking down on it
    the front of each building
blocks view of the one behind
