Humax HDCI-2000T Remote codes

Hello all,

I'd appreciate it if anyone knows what code/s to program into a universal remote for this model please? I've tried looking on the net but to no avail. I have two 'universal' remotes neither of which work on the Humax. Any ideas anyone?

I've recently aquired this unit to check out the HD trial but it came without a remote so am unable to operate it! :-(

Email: digital.television@dcenr.gov.ie would be the place to find out Paddyr.But I doubt they know as MPEG 4 boxes like this model are not commercially available yet. There'll be an announcement on July 21st by the BCI..check their website. So you'll probably have to wait til then. Who knows..so you'll have to use two remotes or 3 if dvd player til then unfortunately.

The remote is exactly the same as that used for the Humax Pr-hd 1000 used in Germany. I know as I have this box for Premiere and the Humax trial box for DTT and the remotes operate the very same (had to move them to seperate rooms because of this!!)

Might be worthwhile seraching for remote codes for the Pr-hd 1000...I'm sure they should be availabe as this receiver is very common in Germany.

I have no idea what scath is trying to say. BTW. Mpeg4 boxes have been available for some time. That is the box that was rolled out for the trial by the Department of Communications.
It is also thje box the BBC used for their terrestrial trials in London back in 2006. The trial box can be bought on the internet also. What the original poster was infact looking for was the remote codes for the Remote control for the HDCI200T box (as he had the lost the original)

The codes for that remote for TIVO is 20067. The Hex for the remote is on AVforums 0000 006D 0000 0002 0029 0184 0015 0E4F.

The remote is the same as BarryO has said above and is also the same as the sattelite version of the box (the HDCI 2000). The actual remote you are looking for is "RS 636E" or the "RS 632". €13 for a replacement.

I had forgotten about the UK box. Apparently this particular model was not available for sale but appears now to be as stb says. I shall realise the extent of my knowledge limits. I don't work in the industry, new to the area. I am aware that MPEG4 boxes are available. Okay..sorry all.
