What to wear with this skirt???

Just bought this skirt in topshop

But havent a clue what to wear with it... bought it coz its cute and also I havent worn a skirt in about 4yrs

it depends what you are planning on wearing it to?
if it was work - a white shirt and black sleeveless jumper would work

Im leaving my job and I was going to wear it to my night out.

As it's short and not colourful, I personally would go with something like a long sleeve red top. That way, it won't look tarty as there won't be too much flesh on display, and the red will stop it from looking too dull.

A tank top of some colour, black or bright, if you're wearing it going out. Congrats by the way, it's a lovely skirt.

I'd wear something plain with it. A tank top is a good suggestion. I think you can go with any colour, as long as it's just the one. Any fussy top would look too much with the print of the skirt.

I think it'd look best with a black or white tank top. Then bright heels/bag to give it some colour!

Maybe a nice black top with a colourful shoulder cardigan,some nice light tan tights(dont go bare) and white sketchers.

White Sketchers and light tan tights??? Me thinks someone is having a laugh...

I'd be inclined to go with a plain white vest top, black opaque tights and some quirky platform heels. Lots of unusual jewellery... gold rather than silver, I think. Make it look different. It's a beautiful skirt, but the danger is with monochrome is that it can look boring if you don't accessorise a lot.

i would go for a black/white lace layered top





something like that(maybe not as dressy as the pics above), the skirt itself is pretty 'graceful' looking and something lace would look super nice with it

i agree with candy. those tops are very flattering. you dont want to go too wild and wear something like a yellow top as other poeple were suggesting. There is enough attention on the detail of the skirt. Just bling it up instead with cool accessories and funky heels.
