I've seen those eyelash tinting kits in shops. Theyr supposed to last 6 weeks. Theoretically sounds like a good alternative to mascara. Anyone have any experience with them? Are they any good?

I have never used the kits but I always get them done in a Beauticians every 6 weeks.

Would highly recommend eyelash tinting! I have very long eyelashes and Mascara just makes them look spidery and horrible so I get them tinted and use clear mascara.

I have tried those kits and they don't work very well.
They would only be good if you have invisible eyelashes.

I have half invisible eyelashes! The tips are white. How much approx does it cost to get them tinted in a beauticians?

I've been using them for about a year now- mostly for my invisible eyebrows though! Get the black one rather than the dark brown if you're only going to be doing eyelashes as the brown isn't terribly noticable.

Also I don't think they last the whole six weeks they're supposed to- I imagine that's partly dependent on what cleansers, etc you use??? Some seem to strip the colour more than others.

I normally get blue/black tint which is really nice!

Its costs me 9 Euro which is quite cheap for something that lasts so long.

I have really long eyelashes (when I open my eyes wide they tip my eyebrows) so mascara just looks stupid, I tried one of those tinting kits as an alternative, but it was only ok, my eyelashes didn't really look any different. If you're going to try them get someone to help because it's fairly tricky doing it yourself.
