    Wear with any jeans.
I used to wear with Levis or skinny jeans back. They work with anything really.

Different laces used to mean something back in the day, can't remember what each meant though. One color meant you were gay, another you were looking for a fight another meant you were into the national front. Dunno if it was an urban myth or not.

My fave was green dm's with fancy hiking boot laces.

Are they broken in yet? :o) A mate of mine who's been wearing nothing else since god knows when say's don't last as well as they used to.

I love Doc Martens, I wore them all through secondary school and now have a pair of 15 hole boots that I wear in winter with skinny jeans. They came back in fashion a bit recently, featured in Vogue's upcoming trends last winter, so they should be bigger this year!
Wearing them with turned up jeans is particular to the Skinhead subculture.
