I, like many people have a lot of bookmarks that are pretty important to me. I'm working off of a laptop for the time being. Is there any way to import my favourites from my PC to my laptop? Any advice is much appreciated.

    Go to:
bookmarks > Organize bookmarks > import & backup
and there should be options for exporting a HTML file.

Then you can just transfer that file to the other computer and do the reverse.

Or you can use foxmark add one and have your bookmark available anywhere.

Yep, was just going to suggest having your bookmarks added everywhere.

Foxmarks is the best utility ever... it synchronises your bookmarks so you have the same ones on all machines. Couldn't live without it now :-)

Keep an eye out for Mozillas' Weave add on.
Its still in beta testing, it syncs booksmarks, as well as browsing history, cookies, saved passwords, tabs, saved form data, and possibly will even resync your extensions/themes in as well.

All of that in one application/add on. I hope it doesnt take to long to get a final release!

i'm not too sure i'd trust my passwords/form history to an external source to tell you the truth.

Well to my knowedge its all encryted. I only save non-crucial passwords as a rule of thumb anyway.

Woefully mouring Google Browser Sync -- now discontinued. Foxmarks is filling the gap for now. Like it and it doesn't get in the way. Looking forward to Mozilla Weave as Google Browser Sync also remembered cookies, passwords, form information and more (encrypted and PIN-protected).
