Its been like that for as long as i can remember :(

This is something i cant control and something that has made me get hurt numerous times over the last number of years and im just sick of it.

I dont really know what advice im looking for but any thoughts would be welcome

    A) you have not met the/ a right person for you or (B) putting on my Sally Jesse raphael hat - you are scared of committment....

Why do you think this is?

Its human nature in a way to want what we can't have or can't get easy or to put it another way we value things more if we have to work for them as opposed to getting them easy.

Is this a case of unrequited love? It makes you stronger in the long run once you keep your spirits up and not let it get you down. Life lesson of sorts. Look at it as at least having good taste and knowing what you like (which gets refined more & more in life) and not settling for what falls into your lap. IMHO your favourite at 30/35yrs is way better than at 20 or 25 etc. but maybe it is more to do with different stages in life. The older the fiddle the sweeter the tune!!!

It's maybe that you are afraid of commitment and sit around thinking things thru for so long that people or situations just move on....
