I bought my current pair of runners in Japan in a second-and shop in 2005.I love them and am still wearing them. Needless to say they are a bit manky and smelly now. I thought I had the only ones in the country as I never seen them before but recently [2008] I seen 2 people wear them around Bray, co. Wicklow. I will attach a picture. Could anyone tell me the name of the shoe and even better wear to get them in Ireland.

    Much appreciated,

They look a bit like the SL80. You might not ba able to get them anymore. Also look similar to the dragon. Check Size? on Wicklow street for similar or keep a look out in TK Max

Hey I found them! My excellent wife looked inside the label, everything was rubbed off thru use except the art no: whatever that is and it turns out they are the adidas MARATHON TRAINER II - Classic.cant wait to go get them again. Any idea a good shop to try? I live in Dublin

Try Size? in Dublin. My fella has a similar pair from there (not all black though).

thx for takin the time to post. i have been into town 3 times in last 6 months to find runners and left frustrated at shopping in general. I hate being a consumer but I have a weird thing about shoes, unless they are to my taste[really narrow, specific taste] I will feel incredibly uncool for the 6 months I wear them. So much so I am still wearing the last pair of cool shoes I found in Oct. 2005 in Japan and they are a size too big for me.

Search them online. A reissue shoe won't be available forever.
