I basically can't decide if I should cut the road out of the picture or not. If I crop it out I loose alot of the wall.

    Help please

Personally I would crop down the left side, a bit to the side of the bush & then crop some off the road just at the base of the wall.

The foreground looks a bit under exposed too.

+1 for the crop of the left part. The road is not distracting.
And congratulations to such lovely weather there :-)

I'm struggling a little with the wall more so than the road to be honest. I'm trying to figure out why but something just looks a little odd. I thought some sort of 'fish eye' when i saw it first. Its as if there is some lens distortion going on - however i think it may be the natural optical illusion of the two angles that the wall is running transposed to a 2 dimensional image.

I think a crop of the road at the bottom an a little of the left which moves the tower a little off center works well and satisifies my natural optical illusion query too.

But then again - all of the above may be just me :D

nice image and a great sky !

I think you will have to crop the road as the image is not straight.

*edit.. I see you straightened it on the sly ;)

There is a natural optical illusion (I used a 16-35mmL) there is a bend in the road which also falls down hill. I quite like the idea of it when I was standing on the bench.

Am at work at the moment but I'll try the various crop suggestions when I get home later.
