New phone advice

Im after breaking my phone and the guy at the shop said that it wouldn't be cost effective to fix it so I'm looking for a new one. It was a sony ericsson k750i. I really liked it so I thought that the k800i might be a good replacement. Only problem is a few people i know have it and it looks awfully chunky. Plus I don't really like the joysticks. Another phone which I've been looking at is the nokia 6300. It doesn't seem to have as many features but it's slimmer and 20 euro cheaper too:)

Anyone have any recommendations. Any problems with either phone? Or do you think there are better phones in the same price range(100-150 euro)?
    Thanks

edit: Just realised i didn't say what i wanted out of the phone. I'm not really too interested in features. The quality of the camera doesn't bother me too much as long as it's decent. I found texting on the k750i much easier than on previous nokia phones I've had and thought that using shortcuts was easier too. Thought the layout of the menu options was better too. These things would matter more to me and I'm wondering what each phone is like in that regard.

So did I .... until the keyboard started dying after 3 months ... beware !!! I had the K750 (joystick fails after 1 year) and the W800 (no problems) before. It's a pity because the software on SonyEricsson is very good.

I had a K800i with 3 for just over a year and then had to replace it. I got a Nokia 6300 from O2 and I'm really happy with it. It's very user friendly and the features are pretty good. The only problem with it is that the back is made of plastic and stainless steel (I think) and it scratches really easily.

I had a look at it and it's a good bit out of my price range.

Hmm I searched for this online and it seems to be a a replacement for the k800i except slimmer and without a joypad. Sounds good. Any idea what price it is? The o2 online shop doesn't seem to have it and i haven't had the chance to check any shops yet. I'm on o2 speakeasy btw.

If your happy with Sony it's between the K800i and the K770i....

The K800 has been out a good while and is very similar to your existing phone...The K770i would be the better upgrade if you want to get a modern Sony, i've only used it on 3 and it works excellent, it's got skype and track id built in......it'll set you back an extra €50 but you'll be coming on 2 years in Technology.....there's some great software on it.....

A friend had the new Sony C902 at the weekend, could be worth a look if you'd consider billy pay to bring the price into your budget....
