Windows Media Player not playing DVDs

    Hey, my sister rang me this morning saying her computer will not play DVDs in Windows Media Player, i did a quick google and it says that windows may not have a DVD decoder. According to the windows site you have to purchase one, is there a free thing to do??

    Does it have to be wmp or would a different player do?

    I suppose anything will do. Would i be able to just download something like VLC and away with ya?

    Yep. VLC would be my player of choice.

    I've yet to find anything VLC won't play :D
