Ben Westbeech is a DJ, singer and producer originating from Bristol, living in London.Trained as cellist and vocalist, his influences include House, Rock n Roll, punk, jazz and hip hop.

Ben has been djing since he was just 12 years old and while still a teenager he was playing in orchestras and choirs during the day, and by night mixing dance music at clubs and parties. It was this juxtaposition of styles that has really shaped my musical ear. After leaving collage he hooked up with Shy FX and T Power and his musical career was turned on to the new emerging sound of Drum n’ Bass . He started working with MCs Sirplus and Kelz, later they released the 'Big Ras Crew' on Roni Sizes Full Cycle label it was around this time that Ben had been working on his own solo album. ‘So Good Today’, his debut cut, was immediately picked up by Gilles Peterson, who made it the inaugural single for his brand new Brownswood label and subsequently rinsed it on his Worldwide show. Before its official release the record was voted fifth best single at the 2005 Worldwide Awards. Upon hearing more Westbeech grooves, Gilles snapped up the album too.
His debut album “Welcome To The Best Years Of Your Life” was released in 2007 and was hit, he is currently working on a new album that is sure to be another massive success. This is Ben’s first and long overdue visit to the capital. Expect a mix house, hip hop, breaks, electro and dubstep don’t be suspired if Ben treats us to some of his out standing vocal talent as he is known to when he djs . Support on the night comes Louche & Conor Feeney (BigDishgo)
