    Hello,

I was just wondering if a laptop with the following specs would be able to run modern games reasonably well (Bioshock, FEAR, Mass Effect, forget about crysis !)

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 1.83 GHz
    RAM: 2GB DDR2
Graphics: ATI Mobility RADEON HD 3450 256MB
    HD: 160GB 7200rpm
    OS: Vista Home Premium

Also, I could get another 2gb of ram for €60 but I'm already pushing my budget. Would it be worth it ?

No, it wouldn't be a good laptop for modern games, because of the graphics card.

Ive seen a benchmark where it (the Mobility HD 3450) scores around 2000 in 3DMark 06. That is well below even 'mid-level' gaming laptop graphics cards.

It will play older games like Half Life 2 reasonably well. Current games like the ones you mention will possibly 'run'.....but at very reduced settings and low framerates. So it would not be recommended for the games you want to play.
