Straighteners are electric not gas. Always had these in checked in luggage, first time flying with just hand luggage.I don't think a can of hairspray is allowed but just want to double check. By the way flying with Ryanair, checked on their website but not very specific.

Straightener should be fine, hairspray wont be allowed if its over the liquid limit (100 ml ? Which it most likely is).

I've never had a problem with hair straighteners in my hand luggage, but i think there is a ml limit on any products you bring, possibly 100? If you got a travel sized one in boots or something i'd say it would be fine.

Thanks, will get mini hairspray in Boots. Just to be on the safe side I'll ask at the Airport. :)
