And I normally have a pretty good memory but a show popped into my head this morning, and I can't think of the name whatsoever.

What I do know is it was a kids show that was a "comedy" (though I remember it being particularly unfunny), it was on BBC1 on a weekday at probably 4.35 (they normally ran a 25 minute show in a lead up to Newsround).

It revolved around a choir of kids / teenagers - and full of "wacky shenanigans" :pac:. I remember one guy was really into himself and fancied another one in the group, a girl who was a rebel. And it had terrible canned laughter.

    Anyone remember it?

That show was called Out of Tune! I remember it and it was brilliant!

    Jaysus... you were quick Danco!

    Cheers for that.

You were spot on - Wikipedia entry for it says I was spot on about time. The prissy guy was called Street and the rebel guy (who he fancied) was called Street.

I just checked out the Wikipedia entry, you were bang on about the time! I'd forgotten about Frankie (the wheeler-dealer of the group), he was great. I loved the show because it was miles better than nearly everything else that was on. Pity it only ran for a few seasons. I wonder if it will ever come out on dvd.
