Ryanair Ticket Mistake

Hey all, I am due to fly out to London in the morning and I just used Ryanair's online check in to print off my boarding pass. As I was doing this I realised I booked my ticket under with the title Doctor. So now my boarding pass says Dr. XXXXX instead of Mr XXXX. As per usual the ever elusive customer care team are unreachable at ryanair.

Does anybody know if this will cause problems tomorrow at boarding / security????

Chances of their objecting are zero. Many a Dr. travels as Mr. Sauce for the goose...

Anyway, you can always say that you are a doctor; they can hardly ask for your credentials.

Well i'm only 19 so I suppose I could say I'm a doctor in some strange cult or something!! I'll say i'm Tom Cruise's side kick in scientology :D:D

It'll be fine I'd guess as you could be a doctor of engineering or whatever. Only the most vain doctor would update his passport on qualification. So there's bound to be a few years where it'll be plain old Mr..

Only problem would be if there's a medical incident, they might ask you to come forward..

It shouldn't cause any. My fiance booked tickets with Ryanair before and put me down as 'Mr' :D I went ape**** at him but all was fine :)

So you would travel with a guy who wishes you were a man.

I don't know which one of you is the more weird.

    At least "Dr" is gender-neutral.

    Hi Roro4Brit

I have made the same mistake as you did last year.
My girlfriend has just pointed out that i have checked in as a Doctor.
She is excited about the prospect of going on holiday with a Doctor. I am a little concerned that i am not going to be allowed on the plane.

Did it cause you any problems in the end.

    Best Wishes
