Luas tag off

    how much is it if you forget to tag off? i taged on at smithfield and forgot to tag off at abby street :(

    It's the maximum fare for the line / you could have paid. It will charge you all the way to Tallaght.

    He was heading inbound - but I'm not sure it matters, I think it charges you a full terminus to terminus fare. €2.05 on a smartcard.

    If you do not TAG OFF you will be deducted the full fare to the end of the line. If you TAG ON and TAG OFF at the same Stop you will be charged the lowest fare.

    As you can tag on at either side of the platform, I'd presume it'll take into account the further end of the line station.

    Note you should have 90 minutes from the tag on time to tag off. After that, you are tagging on again.
