    Hey, it's definitely Friday alright.

Busy with work at the moment (writing) but this evening I am gonna kick back and drink a lot of beer and listen to a lot of heavy, loud music....:D

    What about yourself? Any plans?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 234 ✭✭Cypresstree

Me? Well its probably a sofa n wine night tonight!

Will definitely be allocating a large part of the weekend to sleeping!! :-)

Hopefully heading for the Clarence tomorrow night and spend all day Sunday recovering and thats about!

Fri - eat, sofa, drink, drink, sleep
Sat - sleep, eat, drink, eat, pub, drink, drink, drink, sleep
Sun - sleep, sleep, eat, sofa, eat, eat, sleep.

I might do something spontaneous & entirely different, but the odds on that happening are fairly high!

Enjoy it then. I have another reason to celebrate as I got my offer in the post from the CAO. Going back to college as a MS, looking forward to it. Gonna reply online. Have a good one.

    Hey Denman!

Well done. Where ya going and what ya doin?

Well I am going to be based in Sligo, going to IT Sligo. Doing the Hons Degree, Performing Arts. Worked in (and currently still am) in Film/TV and now I need the educational qualification to go with it. Big plans I have, and this is one of them.

Nothing major planned but now I have to go and buy a crunchie. Which is as good as start to the weekend as any I suppose!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,085 ✭✭✭Xiney

I think I'm going to make a phone call to the husband and see if he wants to see the African drum band at McGarrigle's tonight.

It might be the last thing we do, since we're going shooting at Lough Bo tomorrow (and I'm taking this in a totally competitive spirit, I might shoot Mr Xiney in the leg if he's killing more clay pigeons than I am*)

Then Sunday... probably relax a bit before going to work :)

*This is obviously not true since I adore my little love monkey

    Mundy, Clarence?

    Yarr it was good enough.

    Things i learned about Mundy:
    He is a great hugger.
    He does not like wedgies.

    My head is sore!

Did he seem a bit diva-like? I saw him in the Garavogue/Left Bank (one of them) and he was fairly up his own a*rse.

He seemed alright actually but I was pretty drunk TBH...

you'll all be happy to hear (I'm sure) that I did not shoot my husband in the leg.

That said, I also only got 3 clay pigeons out of 15. If I was responsible for going out and killing dinner, we'd have starved :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,589 ✭✭✭Hail 2 Da Chimp

Well seeing as you only shot 3 clap pigeons and you didn't shoot Mr Xiney, then he must have shot less than you...

Mr Xiney got way more pigeons than I did.

Unfortunately there were too many witnesses :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,085 ✭✭✭Xiney

I'm going to scrub my house from top to bottom as I've got visitors arriving from Canada/US (!!!!!) and I don't want them to know about the filth* I've been living in!

    *Just being dramatic, honest.

I'm off to buy another crunchie. The one last week went down well!

Should be going to the races to loose all my money.

Same as last week, win the lotto.
Instead of the cinema I might go swimming.
    Watch Big Brother (sad!)

I'll be spending the night with a tub of very indulgent ice cream after the wee man is in bed. Think I'll watch BB tonight too (don't tell Mr T, he HATES that programme) Mr. T has gone to the away match in Galway with the rest of the "Mature Ultras"
There is street entertainment (puppets, play and singing) from 6 till 9 in the village tomorrow. Can't wait! Something happening here! Sunday will be the usual shopping and getting the house ready for Monday again!
I really fancy a Crunchie now, just like last week......
    Happy weekend!!!:D

I'm going to the boards beers in Dublin tonight. Should be a good laugh. I hope traffic on the way up isn't bad. Tomorrow apparently I have to go to a cake shop in Dalkey to taste the "Best cakes ever". Sounds like it's too good to be true. But I promise to eat as many cakes as possible so i have an informed opinion! :D

The last two Fridays I have had to have crunchies because of the title of this thread. Today I just don't feel like one. (I thought it was important ye all know that:P)

Where? We'll come and watch and offer our support..... We took our Bulldogs for a walk on Strandhill once and they joined in with a lesson - they learnt loads! ;)
I've been on holiday for a few days! Mr T will be going to Sligo Rovers. I'll be here with my ice cream and BB again - how exciting......

I've had exactly the same urge to have a Crunchie the last two weeks! May I suggest a honeycomb choc bar that's not for girls, great alternative to the crunchi. Can't wait to hear about the cakes and if they are up to scratch, some directions please.....:D

I'm not actually sure where, it's a bday present so I only just found out as I was making plans for the Saturday afternoon and I was told to cancel them!
But if any boardsies or their dogs decide they want to help me / cheer me on, they're more than welcome!
