Can anyone guide me here? I have to get from Kilkenny to Shannon airport and I'm looking for the easiest way on public transport. Checked CIE but am not sure if there's any other services? Danks.

The Bus Éireann Journey planner shows options via Clonmel/Limerick (Routes 7/55/343) or via Cork (Routes 5/51) takes between 4 and 6 hours.

Train will get you to Limerick or Ennis, via Kildare or Waterford and then a bus...

I think Kilkenny-Clonmel/Waterford-Limercik-Shannon by bus makes the most sense.

It's only just over 2 hours drive away.
