hello all can any one say weather or not we will need a passport to go to wales on the ferry ? two parents and brother have passports but the youngest has not ? I'm sure you would need some thing to travel with the little fellow . was informed i can get an almost instant passport in Dublin on any given day but it is 100mls away and would be major heart ache .
if passport is not needed what form of id if any would we need .any helpful ideas would be great :)

Irish or UK citizens do not require a passport for travel between the two countries.

The carrier, ferry in this case, may have some specific ID requirements to transport you but there is no need for a passport to cross the UK/ Ireland border for either countries citizens, ever.

Wouldn't do any harm for the parents to have a driving license on them, but they won't give a damn about the kids not having a passport.
