    Hi guys...

    Looking for some advice...

I started a thread the other day about my hair and how awful is it. I'm looking for some info on hair relaxers.

Is there some kind of light treatment I could try at home?

Well, its like a perm lotion except its a thick cream that you apply to the hair and leave it in. It takes all the waves and curl from the hair. It leaves the hair very dry, so u would need to put a treatment or go heavy on the conditioner for a few days after.
I have been using them for years, as my hair is nearly afro, and using the relaxers gives me some sort of normal hair :)
Unless ur hair is really frizzy, I wouldnt recommend it.

    Hope this helps

    O.K thanks again.

How bad is it for your hair and where do you buy it? Also how long does it last for ?

    Hiya,
Well again, id depends on how bad ur hair is. If ur hair is really dry and frizzy it will take the fuzz out of it. The dryness only lasts for a few days, keeping ur hair well conditioned etc it shud be fine. I get mine if african shops, theyare in most towns. There is a variey of types -but I use one called Soft and Beautiful .
