Flickr - Do you network?

I was wondering about this since I signed up, should I be a whore and submit pix to every conceivable group my stuff might fit in and "contact" half thier members? A select few have contacted me and I admit to adding them but its not really my bag and I havn't gone looking.

I have signed up to a few groups but the tendency I see is
a photo that has a lot of comments is usually inserted to loads
of groups.

So in one way you are giving yourself more exposure. I think it is
waste of time to be honest. If I want someone to look at my photos
I give them a MOO card or the link. I've grown out of the phase of trying
to get extra views and comments for all my photos.

I used to, when I first joined, then I got fed up of all the "Oooooh, he commented on mine, better comment on his" etc, and the bloody 'prizes'. And the "Comment 3, add 1". Bah.

It's a popularity contest

I just stick to who knows me. But I'm lazy too.

I deleted my groups down to 5 or 6 too.

I used to get along with loads in a group till a mod anoyed me so i snapped and got banned

I enjoy talking to people on that more than bebo,myspace etc cos they've got the same interests as me

I just submit the sports photos to a few groups and that's it. All this scoring ****e is boring.
