Just thought I'd let everyone know Strandhill Gymkhana and Craft Fair is on on Wednesday. Always a good day out in a beautiful setting with a beer tent

Beer tent it gets them every time

The gymkhana is horse jumping but that is only a small part of it, don't know exactly whats happening this year but other years have included a fun childrens pet show - very kiddy orientated an obstacle course to take the pets around fine if the pet is a dog, cat or even a rabbit but you have to feel for the wee one carrying around a bowl with gold fish in it

A craft fair with butter making, boxty making, wool spinning and other demonstrations - try to take some fresh butter home with you.

Live music outside the ...............................BEER TENT

Just thought I'd mention it as a nice way to spend a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon especially if the weather is good

Sorry sfhawke typo there meant to say this Saturday, the show jumping is on all day but the craft and fair and family events are all in the afternoon.
