    Hi,

Have bought from them several times. First rate to deal with and fast delivery. Their memory configurator is an excellent tool. They actually have people at the other end of their phones if you need help. Always use them for memory etc,

Yeah I have bought from Memoryc before, top rate, they are the first place I'd go to for memory and all that (based in Ireland which is nice).

    I use MemoryC a LOT ... couldn't recommend them high enough ...

Sure on ebay you might find knock off memory cheaper ... but with VAT and postage and the delay in getting the blooming thing in the post 9/10 times i'll just buy from MemoryC instead. They do "Memory Points" now as well, kinda loyalty points for free little gadgets ... only just starting on that recently .. but another bonus for regular users like me.

They are quick and very friendly and really quick postage ... Top Notch to deal with.

I know this is a tech question rather than a bargain question, but is the data on these portable HDDs secure? Or if I lose it, is all the data on it readable by plugging it into any PC?

Didn't realise they'd rebranded. Excellent company, answered any emails I sent within hours and never had to wait long for items.

    Totally readable.

You can use this app (http://www.truecrypt.org) to encrypt your HDD or a portion of it.
