Not sure if this was brought up before, but, which one are we most likely to face/is the most terrifying/makes for the most entertaining movies?

Virus's are the most likely - Examples are 28 Days later, et al. Tbh, my most terrifying because it's the most likely. They don't actually die, just get infected.

Necromancer style - Zombies being controlled by a necromancer - a la voodoo zombies. Movie example; 'Necromancer'... obviously enough

Rising Dead - Zombies clawing their way up from their graves, and coming back from the dead.

Other - All the unexplained reasons of why there's zombies everywhere.

    Go on then...

    FWIW - Virus for me

    Well then... 27 votes

See, the dead one is scary because there are so many dead people in the ground, in various states of decomposition. But if you're talking virus then a normal person standing next to you could conceivably become one. Feck that for a game of soldiers.

see there could be many types of viruses, some may be cureable, some may not give the Zombie longevity/make them unstopable etc, but with viruses there would always be a chance that we could fix the problem and make all the zombies disapear again.

the Dead no Longer Being DEAD, thats a far more terifying concept

I'd say either virus, rising dead or other.

Virus - depending on incubation period you wouldn't know someone's infected until it's too late. Depending on contagiousness there could be a sudden initial mass explosion in the zombie population.

Rising dead - well assuming there still has to be fleshy bits that's still a lot of zombies popping up out of the ground in a very short time, then their victims would also die and add to the populace, not unlike the viral scenario.

Other - Big Brother = brain rot, :eek:my god we'll be overwhelmed with the blighters!!!
    :D

Virus - True we could cure it but viruses do mutate you'd have to be sure you found the FIRST infected to come up with a viable cure. Think I'll start building my ocean city

    Rising dead.

there is something almost romantic about hell being full and the dead having no where to go.

But what about the increasing numbers of atheists, do they have souls, would they have gone to hell, will they arise if denied entry? Then there's also whether other religions have different hells, and if so are they full too? Would their hells be willing to take some of our hellions for a fee?:P

So how smarmy the atheists are with their fancy questions with no answers when a Zombie is eating their face!

They'll be plenty smarmy when they find out it's a virus :D

Going to go for the full scale biblical apocalypse here! Voted 'Other'.
Failing that 'Virus', boring as it is.

Virus for me, its far more possible than a necromancer or rising dead

Virus is so much more believable tbh and i'd prefer my apocolypse to be believable. Not runners though, i can't think that fast!

I say it's a moot point, because those who know will be the first to die, leaving the rest of us in the dark.

it does not have to be beliveable........
+1 on the runners though..... but not really ...... i feel bad enough having to kill them but the fact that they die tired makes it worse

I'll choose Virus seems it's more likely, though rotting corpses rising is freaky too.
