    Hi all!

I'm about a stone and a half overweight. I have been keeping a food diary for the whole month of june, and my diet is pretty good or so i think. Bascially i want to improve it. I'm a vegetarian,so what are some good sources of protein? I don't eat meat or drink milk, but open to a bit of cheese type things. Is there anything else i should be including? I eat a lot of fruit, veg, and whole grains.

Secondly, in order to shape up and lose weight overall, i need to increase cardio, is that right? I have been going swimming and the gym regularly. I'm starting to see results but at a slow pace. What machines are good for cardio in the gym? I use the treadmill, exercise bike and cross trainer. Is it worth my while using weights as well?

thanks for any advice you can give me!
