Footie trip to Argentina

I don't know if this should be in the soccer forum, apologies if it should be.
Has anyone ever been on a package tour to take in a football match in Argentina?
I would like to go to Boca Juniors/River Plate but have been advised to go on a package tour as it is safer.
I have googled around and found a few sites that do these package tours but I don't know if they are reputable or not.
Could someone point me in the right direction?

I went to a few of the derbies in Rio in the Maracana, just turned up and paid at the gate. I wore a Celtic jersey to the first one and got a bit of grief so for the other one just wore an ordinary t shirt and no prob. Pretty mental in the terraces but a great experience.

I was lucky enough to get along to El Superclasico in 2006. I hadn't planned it, I just happened to be in Buenos Aires when the match was on. I did it as an organised tour to the ground, which I only booked on the morning of the match. I was picked up from the hostel I was staying at. Paid 300 pesos if I remember correctly, about €75-80 at the time. Obviously, this is way over the odds relative to the actual face value of a ticket but there wasn't much option at such late notice. I would've been slightly wary about going along myself, though i'm sure it'd be safe enough.

Anyway, it was an incredible experience. Arrived nearly two hours before the game and the place was packed with the fans jumping up and down and signing the whole time. River won 3-1 at home. Fernando Belluschi had an amazing game, setting up all 3 goals. I thought he was going to be a star after that but he hasn't done too much since (now plays for Olympiakos). Gonzalo Higuain, who scored two of the goals, now plays for Real Madrid.
At the end of the game some of the Boca fans started lighting fires and ripping out seats, throwing them down at the River fans below them. All of the home fans had to be kept back for an hour while the police cleared the Boca fans from the stadium and surrounding area. I don't think the River fans cared too much, they were too busy revelling in the victory.

Cheers for that Placid. Someone else on another forum did the same thing as you: went to Buenos Aries on the day of the game and got a ticket on the black market outside the ground.
Apparently because of the rate of inflation it isn't actually a lot in euros.
But I'd rather be guaranteed a ticket than worrying about traveling all that way just to be disappointed.
    I'd rather
