Hi Does anyone know of a card that does DVB-C? I have had a look at Hauppauge as they are the only good tv cards i know of and i can't find one on there site.

They're no use in this country with NTL nor Chorus (i.e. UPC). UPC don't want people doing any sort of DIY decoding in this manner. If you want to make use of your cable connection, you'll need to capture the output of the box first which is awful as there will be signal loss in converting from digital to analogue (scart/RCA) to digital (capture card).

I have no box, it just comes from the wall and into the tv.

In that case, you could use a plain old analogue TV capture card. Make sure it supports both VHF and UHF as many analogue channels on cable are in the VHF band.
