They are much cheaper in America, so any American website will offer savings. I bought mine last year from www.taylorshoes.com they cost about $30 and the postage didn't take the mick. I can't remember how much they cost in total i'm afraid, but it was nearly half the price they are here. They arrived pretty quickly as well. They use American sizes (as you'd expect!) but they have a converter on the site. There are plenty of cheapo knock offs that you can get here, but i'm a believer in getting the real thing.

Ps: Be prepared to get a backlash about crocs, they aint too popular on this site!

yeah they seem to come in for some flack alright. had surgery on my feet so i wanted to see if they are comfortable. ive tried them on in shoe shops. the only thing is they dont seem to be a tight fit. im a mens size 7(UK). actually i think size 7 was way to small and size 8 was sloppy fit.

are they supposed to be good fitting or are they like flip flop fit wise?

They're supposed to be like flip-flops fit wise. If your conscious of the look of them, have a look around the web, crocs dont actually all look like this:

    I have these ones:

They're just as comfy and most people dont realise they're crocs, they just look like normal flip flops.

Check out https://www.taylorshoes.com/m-2-crocs.aspx?pagenum=1 they seem to have a very good range.

They are a loose fit, I wouldn't call them flip flop style though, put it this way, there should be space between the croc and your foot, but they shouldn't 'slog' off your feet either (they have a strap that goes around your heel, which you can move if you prefer to wear them flip flop style.

I bought mine last year to wear on holidays in Disney World (a lot of walking) at first they were really comfy, but then they started to rub the top of my foot a little. Also, because they have no padding or air in the sole, they are not terribly comfortable if you are doing a lot of walking. The lack of suspension makes you feel every step. After wearing them in Orlando for a few days, I had pains up the back of my calves, so I had to give up on them and buy a pair of trainers. I had no more problems after that. However I still find them good for around the pool on holiday.

This year I have bought a pair of Ecco runners, http://www.shoebuy.com/ecco-x-treme-jane-slip-on-25803/154759/358259 (I should point out that I am a woman, but they have similar styles for men!) they are the most comfortable things I have ever worn in my life. They are not tight fitting and have air vents so they keep the feet cool. I just find the air in the sole a livesaver, it means your feet and legs don't get as tired. They are pricey (mine were €75) but I can see myself wearing them forever!

Crocs are fine if you are just wearing them around the house, but if you plan to wear them while walking, you might not find them that comfortable.

it might be cheaper to have somebody hit you over the head until you get some sense and don't buy them...

www.littlewoodsdirect.ie sell reasonably priced Crocs. They have mens crocs for E19.50 including delivery.
www.sweetfeet.co.uk have a good range of Crocs at cheaper prices too.I've seen them recommended in The Sunday Times.
You can return anything you don't want to either place. It's worth looking around to find something comfortable if you've just had surgery. Hope you get better soon.
