    Hi

Here is a short poem I wrote, please feel free to comment...

    ______________

Waiting to die while walking in a yard
    Hands in pockets
The old mans body is stiff
    Heavy legs
    Slow step after slow step
    Familiar sights catch his attention
    Renewed interest
    Stillness in the day
    Retired from life
    Life already lived
    Re-lived in memory
    As far as memory serves

Is it peace or boredom that lives in the old mans staps?

Is it love or regret that stands with images of yesterdays?

The young man sits and watches the old man walking in the yard
    Hands in pockets
The old mans body is stiff
A mystery in an old grey suit
    History in human form
    The young man cant decipher
The image of the old man walking in the yard
