    Folks,

Just wondering if anyone has information about an mdf type of architrave with a wood finish veneer on the market?

Try any large hardware store specialising in joinery / timber.
There are walnut and oak vineers on mdf skirting.

I recently priced the white oak type. It's 165 Euro for 50 foot pack (5 lengths) and it's 5.5 inchs high (give or take). That was in the main builders providers in portlaoise. The make is "Applications" which is common enough nationwide I gather. I'm 95% sure this is the product I saw http://www.bghome.ie/product/Skirting/kmors1

I have been looking at this option too white oak engineered doors and veneered MDF skirting!

The Frame 5" is €61 per set
The architrave is €26.17 per set one side of door only
The skirting is €28.50 per 3.6m length

The doors come prefinished the skirting does not, is it possible to get a good match? Im getting the doors at €115 each

Thats €6,981 without hinges glass locks and ironmongery!

Are they foil wrapped or solid timber. Chippies hate working with foil wrapped, something to do with cuts on frame, very difficult to get proper cuts.
