What do you think brothers, bad idea?

I've somehow ended up with about 6 or 7 bottles of different beers and different beer types in my fridge. Would it be unwise to just start drinking them or should I buy some supplementary beers for each of these singletons?

just drink them for feck sake. it's all beer in the end*

*due to my drinking habits I may not be the best placed person to answer this though

Drink them, just dont actually mix them together  one after the other and you'll be fine...if you're not well don't come crying to me

If you're drinking them all in the one sitting then may I suggest that you start with the good ones and slowly progress to the bad ones? Your ability to tell good beer from bad will degrade as the alcohol kicks in.

There's nothing wrong with a mixture of different beers in your fridge. I got a selection box of nice beers as part of my last birthday present from my girlfriend. :D

Well, there's no bad beers in there, they are all decent imo* It's just some of them are very different. There's Budvar, Staropramen Granat, some type of Kolsch that I took from a party down the country last week, Warsteiner and some others.

I had a Warsteiner last night followed by a Budvar. Took me till half way through the Budvar until it started to taste as it should. Just worried I'll be losing out on the flavour here!

*I didn't buy the Warsteiner, that came as part of my local Pizza Euro 2008 special - 3x500ml of Warsteiner plus a 38cm pizza with 3 toppings for €11.50.

    • Finish bottle A.
    • Eat
    • Start bottle B.

    should help with that.

    Eating's Cheating.

    *************

There's nothing wrong with doing this at all, once they are all beers. If one is Cider I'd leave it til the end.

But surely getting more beer in is a good thing?

I'll say it again, in case you didn't understand the first time.

    Eating's Cheating.

    And wtf cooking?

    Cooking?

Mixing beers should be ok. Spirits are a different matter -_-

    Eating's Cheating.

Only if you're trying to get drunk on a time budget. A good night's drinking is a marathon, not a sprint!

Try it..what's the worst that could happen? The potential benefits of beer-age far outweigh any possible health negatives.

I usually get worse hangovers when I mix my drinks!

There's nothing wrong with a bad beer, it's just a beer you haven't got around to having yet!!! Knock back a couple of swifties and sandwich the older beer in between several more good ones. No probs at all. Happy drinking. A couple of bottles chilling in my fridge as I write this....:D

yeah, finished them off last night, all good. Took the taste buds a few slugs to adjust to each beer. I enjoyed the Kolsch best, Reissdorf kölsch is what it was called!

If they were all lager you'd be fine.

Mixing lager with ale or stout is not recommended.

I find myself in a similar situation. I am not blessed with the quality of beers you have though.

I have Miller (which I like), Corona (which is grand), Carlsberg (which I'll drink) and the dredded B word which must not be mentioned as it's piss. So I'm obviously going to pawn off the last set on some unsuspecting visitor. But the first three may find their way into my stomach.

Agree with you there man. It's amazing Bud is nice in a bottle but horrible in a can or on tap? Why is that? Anybody got an idea?

I feel I must distance myself from DenMan. I unequivocly dislike the B word, in all its forms. It tastes like piss tbh.

Peace here guys. Personally I like Carlsberg, it's a stong beer and great for BBQ's. Also like a lot of Lidl beer, Perlenbacher, Bavaria, Excelsior. You can never have enough beer....:D......good quality beer that is
