I'm not sure if this is a personal issue or if it should be in fashion and appearance or somewhere but it is kinda personal...
I have a problem of having constant, what look like goose bumps on my upper legs and arms. Theyr not really raised, only slightly. Just like pink dots on my skin. When i was small and weaing shorts on a hot summers day, people would think i was cold, but they're just always there.
Anyone know what they are or how to get rid of them?

phi, I love you, but time has taught me you are one of boards.ie's resident hypochondriacs :)

More than likely its probably nothing. Then again it could be tuberculosis  (probably not.) but I mean if you have to ask, it might be worth arranging with your doctor to see what it might be. Are you experiencing any other symptoms or is this purely cosmetic?

you have a long standing history of posting on boards looking for medical related advice. Just compile a list of everything and take it to your doctor. Truth be told medicine really cant be accurately diagnosed over the phone or the internet.

Excuse me???? I KNOW it is nothing medical. It's simply a cosmetic thing. I dont like how it looks and was wondering if anyone knew a way of getting rid of it.

Forgive me so. In that case its really not a PI; but my cousin will often swear by vitamin E enriched skin lotion on skin. She used it during her pregnancy for instance to dodge stretch marks. Other than that I havent the foggiest.

A good exfoliator works. I had it on the top of my arms. Something with shea butter and a natural exfoliant. Look at places like lush, they have very rich, moisturising exfoliators.

There is a sticky at the top of this forum written by an Admin stating that this is not a medical forum.
