Grey trousers with brown shoes??

    Typical bloke here, I have no clue when it comes to fashion. I have a really big meeting on Monday though, so I want advice. Can I wear grey trousers with brown shoes? Like would that look ok?

    I've seen brown shoes worn with everything and personally think they're horrible..might get away with them with jeans but thats it.
    I think black shoes would go better..do you not have a pair?
    No one's really going to be minding your shoes anyway

    I am attending a function tomorrow afternoon wearing black pants and brown shoes only cuz i am told they look ok on me so who am i to argue with a fashion expert ?

    OK I do have black shoes, so I'll wear them instead. What do brown ones go with then?

    Brown shoes look great so long as they have personality. If they scream "look at me" they'll go with anything. Check out French or Italian style icons.

    black or beigh trousers, but black is the main shoes to wear at functions .I have 3 pair but am only wearing brown with black trousers as requested :)

    I love my boyfriend wearing brown shoes with jeans. I think it looks very stylish. Wouldn't say they'd look great with slacks. Black or gray trousers would look so much better with black shoes. Not a fashion expert just giving my opinion ;)
