Translation?

Can any of you gaelgeoiri give me a perfect translation into Connemara Irish for "Will you marry me?" The girlfriend is from out that direction and I plan on asking her the ceist mor shortly on her own home turf. With my Dublin schoolboy Irish I'll mess it up probably.

I think a Connemara man would translate it as
'An nglacfaidh tú liom mar chéile?' (will you
accept me as your husband), or the standard
'An bpósfaidh tú mé', will you marry me. Wait for
more just to be on the safe side. Good luck

Surely it would be "mar do fear cheile"??? No?? Otherwise I'll go with it.
Any other input? Am going for it next Sat.

If you want to phrase it thusly it would be 'mar
d'fhear chéile' - but I gather the 'mar chéile' has
more of an idiomatic ring to it (lit. 'as (a) spouse
/partner'), plus it just flows better, I think. The
originator of this is a native speaker from Nun's
Island, but either way I'm sure you'll be under

Más as Conamara í, tá súil agam nach ndéarfadh sí "'sea"!

If she says: Glacfainn, B'aoibhinn liom, etc - you're in. Otherwise, claim you thought you were asking how to tie a shoelace, and get out of there with the oul "ceann ina airde"
