N95 Sat Nav Problem...

    My nokia maps wont work on my N95 its the 8GB if that helps anyone know how i can go about fixing it ??

    Some more information might help. Does the application open? Has it worked? Did you recently update it? Are you using Maps2.0? You could try updating it from the nokia site http://europe.nokia.com/A4984199

    I had a problem with my N95 simialr to yours. Basically it would not lock onto any sats, with Garmin or Nokia Maps. In the end i put it down to a loose connection internally to the gps reciever, i think this was experienced with by a few other users in various forums. In the end i smashed the phone on the ground a said i dropped it, then i got a new one through insurance and had no probs with the newer phone.

    ye it took ages to lock on at times, updating the firmware and maps application fixed the problem.
