Hey guys am lookin at getting a large display to play my pc on but also to use for SD sky through a HTPC setup.
Looking at the possibility of a 30" monitor like the dell Dell 3008WFP 30".
Are these any good for tv signals? As in through the pc or a signal converter or is that a bad idea?
Should i just go for a larger plasma at the same price point?
Main thing is that i've noticed sports look like sh1t on lcdtvs and it's important to me that they look good. I dont know about plasmas no real experience with em.
So what i'm after is picture quality. Will it be better with a lcd monitor setup throught pc or just straight to plasma?

p.s Sorry if my post is a bit all over that place.
