    Folks just a quick question.
Is Ticketmaster the only way to buy a season ticket for next year?
I.e. I wouldn't be able to stroll into the Leinster shop in Donnybrook to get one?
    Cheers

Yes. You can pay by cheque (no service charge) or CC, but only via Ticketmaster.

What's better, the north stand or the south stand?

And are the gold, platinum & diamond season tickets much better than the silver north/south?

    Cheers.

we're in the north stand. south stand is basically the same. good view but open to the elements

I think in general visiting support get tickets to the south stand as their allocation, my ST is north stand also, and is mainly Leinster support. If you want to spring that little bit extra for the granstand or anglesea, personaly I would go for grandstand, but having been in all sections at one point over the last couple of seasons (with the exception of the anglesea terrace) I don't think you can beet the atmosphere in the north stand. (and anglsea terrae STs, although cheap, have a restricted view.)

Another point worth noting however is that the screen is in the north stand...so it's the only place in the ground where you can't see it fully...

Season Tickets are going like hot cakes, nearly 8,000 gone already, hoping for 10,000+, but either way, I think we will reach half the stadium being sold out for every game before a ball is even kicked, tackle made or try scored. (9,000+ season tickets). Should be an even better season from the fans again, can't wait!!

Yeah I think the North Stand is the way to go. I'll get the season ticket on Monday. Bloody annoyed to have to pay the Ticketmaster charge though

i believe there is an option to pay by cheque.

Mine is for the north stand aswell..

Pros: Decent enough view. Pick your own seat, sit in the front row if you like and only be a meter of two away from the players. Bars, food and toilets are all close by

Cons: Behind goal, not to everybodies taste. open to the elements

Renewed both my tickets, for the discounted rate for the roofless grandstanders.

    Should be worth it.

Unfortunatley that option is unavailable to me. There's no chance of being able to buy one with cash at one of those ticketmaster booths like the one in Stephens Green SC?

I paid by cheque. I had a bit of a root for my season ticket invoice (got invoiced twice by mistake :/) and I paid the early bird price of €229 with no service charge. Of course you can do it! :p

Here's what to do. I went to this link (you might have to register if you didn't have a season ticket before), filled out all the details including credit card details (although this is not charged, if you don't have a credit card you must know someone who would be willing to fill in these details for you even if they don't trust you with the cc number :p), they posted me out an invoice, I simply went to the bank, gave them the cash, got a bank draft for the amount and posted it along with a copy of the invoice to the ticket master office printed on the invoice and done and dusted.

No problem and it takes 5 minutes.

If you still don't think you'd be able to get your hands on creidt card details (as I'm sure the rest of the details are ok for you?) you could email Sinead Coffey (ticketsATleinsterrugby.ie) and no doubt you could come to some arrangment to pay by cash at the branch or something. I doubt they will turn away a season ticket purchase over booking problems. She'll sort you out if all else fails.

Pay someone the cash for the cheque and do that. You can try contacting the branch, but they might still refuse cash. Tickemaster agents aren't selling the tickets (they just provide the service to Leinster, not to the public, so you have to register with Leinster's own Ticketmaster facility).

When purchasing from ticketmaster.ie it says NTH1 Space 18.

Is there any situation where I HAVE to sit there or is the north stand unreserved seating all the time?
