Do any Hunters bring their mates along for a day out when going shooting/hunting? If so what are the legal implication of doing so.

Realistically is it safer to go shooting on your own or in pairs

PS I always ask land owners if its alright if to bring a mate......

Legally, if they don't shoot, it's no different from going for a walk with someone.
If they do shoot, it's illegal (it's only legal for you to let someone else shoot with your firearm on a target shooting range).

not so if they had a accident say fell ,the land owner is liable as there were invited on to the lands .

not the same as hunting if your a sevent ,owner or lease holder of the land that person is in your care so to speak when hunting .this is a mine field hear, it would take the high court to call it . any client or guest i bring hunting has to have insurance. air on the better side of caution on this one

I'm not saying that there's any kind of exemption jw, just that there's nothing additional caused by the purpose of the walk being hunting. It's only if the guest shoots your firearm that there's additional problems (namely it being quite illegal). Everything else that applies to a guest on a walk on someone's land (all the liability issues and the permission/trespass issues in other words) apply as well.
