    Hey folks,

Thought some of ye might be interested in these videos of Michael Shermer...

This YouTube user (possibly his own/official one) has various experiments and analyses of things like spoon-bending, remote viewing, and fire walking:

This is a great talk by him when he was plugging his book "mind of the market", and it's mainly concerned with evolution. It gives various evolutionary explainations for things like altruism and generocity, as well as thrill-seeking and the likes. I find that kind of thing quite intriguing:

Here's a short, quite funny, talk he gives at TED, entitled "Why people believe strange things":

I'm growing quite fond of this chap! He has a masters in experiemental psychology, and a PhD in the history of science. This was something I was not aware of! I assumed he just had an interest in the area (like say Christopher Hitchens)
