Where to get a cheap Server Rack / Cabinet

Hey guys,

I'm pretty sure that this isnt the correct forum to dump this in but tbh i couldnt find any other section which would apply. (Sorry Mods, please move at your will oh mighty ones )

Anyways. I'm looking for a cheep cabinet / rack to store my servers, swtiches and machines at home. I have no clue where to get one at a good price i.e. free I've seen them on adverts but there so expensive...its madness i tells ya!!

Anywho if anyone knows of a place (I'm not looking for anything fancy, it does not need to have internal fans etc) please do let me know.

I know of the recycling place up in finglas but I dont know if they sell cabs for cheap (cant get thru on the phone) :S

There was a guy selling one on adverts but I agree that
he was looking for waaaaaay too much. (€600 I think)

I am also looking out for one and was considering getting
a small one as a temporary solution.

Yeah I say that ad, was way too over priced.
Do you know of anywhere would have a small one?

I basically just want to house three machines, a switch and a rack mounted server. I'd love to know if there are any companies dumping some or if theres anyone who has one for sale.

Google... Great isnt it. But for second hand ones i have no idea. You could try a crowd called finglas recycling i suppose.

yeah I've already checked out those sites (I too have mastered this thing you call google ) They're all too expensive for me tbh. As i said I'm looking for a cheap one.

As I said in my orginal post I can never seem to get a response from the place in finglas (phone or email) so I may just pop up later this week.

If you don't mind about noise and are on a budget then have a look at the Ikea Lack's.

The small tables are perfect side for network equipment and the larger table will take 2 pull length servers.
